Whispering Willow Care · Sellersville, PA
Welcome to Whispering Willow Care (the "Website"), owned and operated by Brenda Jones, a postpartum doula serving families in and around Sellersville, Pennsylvania. By visiting this Website or engaging in postpartum doula services (the "Services"), you agree to the following Terms of Service (the "Agreement"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Website or request Services.
1. Nature of Services
Whispering Willow Care provides non-medical postpartum support in the home, offering gentle, professional care to help families transition with confidence after birth.
Support may include (but is not limited to):
Assisting with physical recovery and postpartum comfort
Providing emotional support and information about postpartum and baby care
Supporting feeding (breast or bottle), including lactation guidance
Caring for your baby during shifts to promote rest and bonding
Offering household help, such as tidying, laundry, and bottle/pump cleaning
Important: I do not provide medical care, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace the advice of licensed professionals. I do not perform heavy cleaning, yard work, or take over complete care of the baby.
2. Service Area and Eligibility
Whispering Willow Care serves clients within approximately 30 minutes of Sellersville, PA. You must be at least 18 years old to engage Services. If you live outside the typical service area, please reach out to confirm availability.
3. Booking Process
To book Services, the following steps are required:
Submit an inquiry through the Website or email
Participate in an initial phone consultation
Schedule a complimentary in-person meeting, if appropriate
Sign a service agreement
Submit a retainer (as outlined in the private agreement)
Your booking is not confirmed until all steps are complete.
4. Scheduling and Cancellations
All Services are scheduled based on mutual availability. Shifts may be canceled or rescheduled according to the terms of your service agreement. In general:
Client cancellations with fewer than 72 hours’ notice may incur a fee
Missed shifts may be billed at the full scheduled rate
I will make every reasonable effort to notify you and reschedule if I face an emergency or illness
5. Overnight Support and Rest Periods
During overnight shifts, my primary focus is caring for your baby so that you can get restorative rest. I will handle feedings, diaper changes, and baby-related needs. Household tasks are a secondary priority and may not be completed if the baby requires full attention.
During quieter periods, I may rest or sleep when the baby sleeps. This is a standard part of overnight doula care and helps me remain alert and effective throughout the shift.
6. Client Responsibilities
To maintain a safe and respectful working relationship, clients agree to:
Provide a clean, smoke-free, and safe environment
Communicate clearly about household needs and expectations
Inform me of any health, pet, or safety concerns in advance
Treat my Services with care and respect, understanding that I am not a nanny or housekeeper
Clients also acknowledge that I do not take over complete care of the baby, but instead offer support to help parents build confidence in their own caregiving abilities.
7. Confidentiality
All personal and family information shared with Whispering Willow Care is treated as confidential. I will never disclose your information without written consent unless legally required (such as in cases of suspected abuse or court order).
8. Client Agreement and Release of Liability
By requesting Services, you agree that:
You understand that my role is supportive and non-medical
You accept full responsibility for your family’s health and care decisions
You release and hold harmless Brenda Jones and Whispering Willow Care from any claims or liabilities related to Services provided, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional harm
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Whispering Willow Care shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of this Website or Services. Total liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for Services in the 30 days prior to a claim.
